On the mannequin’s wrist are «Amphibia» waterproof watches made at the Minsk Watch Factory. The first Soviet waterproof wristwatches were produced by the Chistopol Watch Factory «Vostok» («East») in 1967. They were named «Amphibia» after a mythical creature that can live both on land and in water. Our factory began producing «Amphibia» watches in 1998. The case was designed to reliably protect the watch from leaks. The design was highly praised, and the factory received several patents for the invention. The watches are still being made today.
